“We were so pleased with the first-class job that Grant and his team did for us. No easy task, as we are hoarders, but they took it in their stride and worked so hard to get the job done. Professional, efficient, with a smile. Highly, highly recommend!”
About
Your local removals company, owner-run from Leighton Buzzard
Removals Leighton Buzzard is Grant’s business. He quotes it, he plans it and he is on the van.
Our story
More than 8 years of moving, clearing and delivering
Removals Leighton Buzzard started as a single van doing furniture deliveries and small moves around Leighton Buzzard, and it has grown by word of mouth into a removals, house clearance and delivery service that covers 25 miles in every direction. The van is bigger now, a yellow Mercedes Luton with a tail lift that you will see all over town, but the approach has not changed: turn up when you said you would, look after people’s belongings as if they were your own, and charge a fair, fixed price.
Grant personally oversees every job. That is how a small business has to work. It means the person who quoted your move is the person who understands why the wardrobe needs to come apart, and the person who promised to be gentle with your late mother’s house is the person holding the boxes.

How we work
What you can expect from us
- Fixed prices. We quote the whole job in writing. If nothing changes, nothing changes.
- Proper kit. Blankets, straps, sofa and mattress covers, floor protection, trolleys, a tail lift and dismantling tools on every job.
- Insurance. Goods in transit and public liability cover, with certificates available on request.
- Legal disposal. We are a registered waste carrier. Clearance and rubbish loads go to licensed transfer stations and you get a waste transfer note.
- Sustainability. Usable goods to local Bedfordshire charities, materials separated for recycling, residue to refuse-derived fuel rather than landfill.
- Respect. Bereavement and probate clearances are done at the family’s pace, with keepsakes set aside and nothing rushed.
Reviews
What customers say
Real reviews from real jobs across Leighton Buzzard and the surrounding area.
“Grant helped me to move a motorcycle I was looking to buy and I couldn't be happier with the service. Great communication, prompt arrival and very careful with the movement of the bike while securing it for transport. Will definitely move items with the Removals Leighton Buzzard again when I need to. Thank you!”
“Very happy with my experience with Grant. I asked on Facebook groups for waste collection in the midst of the heat yesterday and he was able to travel to me in Leighton within a couple of hours and cleared our garden for a reasonable price. We should have done this months ago. We will definitely use again should we need anything else. Thank you.”
