“We were so pleased with the first-class job that Grant and his team did for us. No easy task, as we are hoarders, but they took it in their stride and worked so hard to get the job done. Professional, efficient, with a smile. Highly, highly recommend!”
House Removals
Flat and Apartment Removals
Flat moves are all about access. We sort it before the day.
A flat move has more moving parts than the number of rooms suggests. There is a lift to book or stairs to climb, a loading bay with a time limit, a concierge with a set of rules, and a van that has to sit somewhere legal for the duration. Get any of that wrong and a two-hour job becomes a five-hour one.
We move a lot of flats, particularly in Central Milton Keynes, Luton town centre, Bedford's Castle Quarter and Aylesbury, and we ask the right questions first: which floor, is there a lift, what size is it, is there a loading bay, and who do we need to speak to about access.
What is included
- Access planning with your building manager or concierge
- Stair carries quoted up front, never added on the day
- Lift protection where the building requires it
- Dismantling of beds and wardrobes that will not fit in the lift
- Fixed price for the whole move

Reviews
What customers say
Real reviews from real jobs across Leighton Buzzard and the surrounding area.
“Grant helped me to move a motorcycle I was looking to buy and I couldn't be happier with the service. Great communication, prompt arrival and very careful with the movement of the bike while securing it for transport. Will definitely move items with the Removals Leighton Buzzard again when I need to. Thank you!”
“Very happy with my experience with Grant. I asked on Facebook groups for waste collection in the midst of the heat yesterday and he was able to travel to me in Leighton within a couple of hours and cleared our garden for a reasonable price. We should have done this months ago. We will definitely use again should we need anything else. Thank you.”
FAQ
Flat and Apartment Moves questions
My building only allows moves between certain hours. Can you work to that?
Yes. Tell us the window and we will size the crew so the move fits inside it.
Do you charge extra for stairs?
Stairs are part of the quote. We ask about them up front so the price you get already includes them.
